Product Overview

A pair of stainless steel hinged hoop earrings finished in black IP plating with a polished surface and a notch-and-lock closure.

Ion plating, or IP, is a vacuum-deposition process developed for industrial and watchmaking applications in which a thin layer of colored metal is bonded to a base metal at the molecular level. The result is a finish significantly more scratch- and wear-resistant than traditional electroplating, which is why it has become the standard for darkened stainless steel jewelry.

Key Features

  • Crafted in stainless steel with a polished finish
  • Finished with IP plating for lasting brilliance
  • Measures 14 mm wide and 12 mm long
  • Approximate weight of 3.89 grams
  • Sold as a matching pair
