We want you to love what you receive. Here is exactly what we stand behind, and what to do if something is not right.

Our promise

Every piece we sell is made with genuine gemstones and fine metals, and inspected before it ships. We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our jewelry and want you to buy with confidence.

We do not offer a lifetime warranty

Fine jewelry is worn against the world every day, and normal wear is a natural part of its life. For that reason we do not offer a lifetime warranty. Instead, we back every order with a clear 30-day guarantee, described below.

Our 30-day guarantee

  • Change of heart. Return any item within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided it is unworn, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.
  • Defective or damaged on arrival. If an item arrives with a manufacturing defect or is damaged in transit, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will repair, replace, or refund it at no cost to you, including return shipping.

How to make a claim

Email us at info@birthstonecompany.com with your order number and, for a defect or damage, a few clear photos. We will review your claim promptly and send instructions for a return or replacement. Please do not send items back before contacting us, so we can make sure your return is handled correctly.

What is not covered

Our guarantee covers manufacturing defects and change-of-mind returns within the 30-day window. It does not cover:

  • Normal wear over time, including scratches, thinning of plating, and gradual loss of shine.
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, improper care, or exposure to chemicals.
  • Loss or theft after delivery.
  • Repairs, resizing, or alterations performed by anyone other than us, which void the guarantee.
