A few tips for an accurate fit. Measure when your hands are warm, not cold. Take your reading two or three times to be sure. Wider bands fit a little tighter, so size up a half size for bands over 6 mm. If the ring is a surprise, borrow a ring she already wears and match its inside diameter to the chart above.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I measure my ring size without a sizer?
Wrap a strip of paper or thin string around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length in millimeters. Match that circumference to our conversion chart to find your size.
What is the most common ring size?
For women, sizes 6 to 7 are the most common, with 6.5 being the single most popular. For men, sizes 9 to 10 are typical. If you are guessing for a gift, these are safe starting points.
What if I am between two ring sizes?
Choose the larger size. A ring that is slightly loose is far more comfortable and easier to wear than one that is too tight, especially in warm weather.
Can my ring be resized later?
Most solid gold and sterling silver rings can be resized by a jeweler. Eternity rings set with stones all the way around, and some intricate designs, are harder to resize, so it is worth getting the size right the first time.
